FONAG is a private equity fund with a lifespan of 80 years and that, through a trust business, operating since January 2000 and is regulated by the Law on Securities Markets. The Trust is a financial mechanism, which uses permanent and stable yields heritage to co-finance activities, projects and programs of rehabilitation, conservation and maintenance of the watersheds from which supplies water for their human needs and productive, to inhabitants of the Metropolitan District of Quito and their areas of influence.
